The countown begins today! This time (20:30) next week, i will hopefully be in a cinema hall awaiting the promo of KANK to enroll infront of my eyes, before Fanaa. (Read the 'Pre-Fanaa' blog below for more info).
Karan Johar has done ever so well to keep secrecy on everything about his movie, from locations and storyline to cast and photo's - nothing has been officially revealed, but slowly slowly the tables are turning, the media is beginning to get the upper hand as we draw closer and closer to the first promo being aired, and i for one, have definitely won over Karan this time, as i've got my hands on some EXCLUSIVE scans of images taken from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna! Bless our 'bunty aur babli'; i've always said they would make a beautiful couple in real life, but Aishwarya nahin maanti. Cmon' Abhishek, a womans beauty can lead a man astray, but a woman's heart can never. Look into Rani's heart and i'm sure you'll find your tasveer there!
I don't want to indulge into this Abhishek, Aishwarya gossip - it's only gossip by the way - i highly doubt there's any truth to it, because the talk of the town is that daddy Bachchan favours Rani Mukherjee, and with Abhishek being the family man that he is, i am sure he would never go against his fathers wishes.
Back to KANK... the first images have been unofficially released, and i'm sure you'll agree they look really nice. And what's more is, the track listing has been leaked out! We have a total of seven songs. It's a Karan Johar movie - so do expect excellent music!

The comic thriller also stars Raghubir Yadav, Minissha Lamba, Anusha Dandekar and Gulshan Grover.
The film has been shot entirely in Thailand on some exotic islands... Remember the Janasheen islands? Yep, it's the same one's, in Krabi, a consortium of over 1000 beautiful islands which is some 13 hours away from Bangkok.
It goes without saying that the music is by Himesh Reshammiyya, the number one music composer of the moment (excluding A.R Rahman, as he is in a league of his own), who seems to have his name on every latest bollywood film these days.

When you go to watch Fanaa in the cinema (say NO to piracy!), make sure you get there on time, because scheduled to go on screen before Fanaa in every theatre across the globe is the theatrical trailer to this years most awaited movie! You must have guessed by now, i'm talking about Karan Johar's third venture as director, after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and K3G, it's now Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, *ing Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan.
Knowing me, i will be so excited about the trailer, that i will be thinking about it throughout Fanaa, and probably end up not likeing Fanaa.

What am i saying? Not likeing Fanaa? Am i feeeeling alright!!! I'll take back my word on that. Fanaa is definitely going to register in the hearts of millions. I have faith in Amir and Kajol. Every Amir Khan movie is a delight to watch, and not to forget his previous, Rang De Basanti. Even though it has been months, I am still loving that film!
Back to the point, Do NOT miss the Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna promo before Fanaa!
