Song of the year: Tere Bin from Bas Ek Pal
It was the vocals of Atif Aslam which made Tere Bin a chartbuster, and my number one song of the year. A song, so rich in music and vocals, Bollywood listeners had never heard something like this before.

Album of the year: Rang De Basanti
It was A.R.Rahman's year once again. Himesh probably won the hearts of the youth with his catchy numbers, but without doubt, when it comes to top quality music; unheard and unique, you cannot beat A.R.Rahman's Rang De Basanti, which in my opinion is by far the album of the year.
